Why so little goes wrong
Many small-business sites run on a stack of parts from different companies, each changing on its own schedule, and sooner or later two of them clash. Our hand-coded sites are simple static files, with no database and no sign-in page, which leaves very little to go wrong.
Built for a lake calendar
Lots of businesses around here keep different hours when the weather warms up and the boats come out. Send Roger the new hours, a holiday closing or a fresh photo, and it's done as part of the plan.
What it costs
Care plans scale with the size of the site and are quoted along with your build. The pricing page explains how.
Hosting questions
Which changes are small ones?
The day-to-day stuff: opening hours, prices, pictures, staff names, a closing notice, a line of text. If a request turns out to be a whole new page, it's priced before work starts.
And if the site stops loading?
An uptime monitor pings us, and we get it back. Since the pages don't depend on a database, that's an uncommon event.
Can you take over hosting for a site another company made?
As a rule, no. The plan is built around sites that came out of this shop. If yours lives elsewhere, Roger will help you decide between repairing it and replacing it.
